The same thing happened to my car, but it was the right front turn signal. I replaced the bulb and everything was back to normal.

Just go underneath the car and remove the splash panel (held on by about eight 10mm bolts) and you'll see the back of the turn signal. You'll turn the bulb about 1/4 turn and it'll pop right out.

Re: left turn signal/Blinker not working ???

The only place to start is to gain ascces to the bulb socket and test it. If it;s 2 wire it should have ground on one wire and then the blinking hot on the other, If it;s 3 wire should have ground, constent hot when the lights are on and then a blinking hot with the signals. I ahve dealt with a lot of non blinking left front signals where the bulb is just not getting the hot feed. And everytime it turns out to be the DRL module. You have blibking hot going in but nothing coming out...

Re: left turn signal/Blinker not working ???

I'm guessing just a bad bulb in the left front where the turn signal element is broken and occasionally touching the daytime running light element. This would explain the non-functioning turn signal and the occasional turn indicator flashing. Just a guess.

Re: left turn signal/Blinker not working ???

if you want you can do a real fast test to ruel out or condem the DRL module. Remove the radio, the module is right behind it. Pull it out and unplug it. take a small peice of wire and stick it in the connector jumping the light blue/white wire with the light blue wire. This in effect is bypassing the signal going through the DRL module. Now see if the blinker works on the left front. takes all of 5 minutes.

Since everyone else has two cents in, here's mine. Although this shematic is for a 95Z, I feel fairly confident that yours would still be located similarly in this area.
