nav system should have been a must on this car. the vette has it! why couldnt they do something like the cts hand have it pop out of the dash? i have it in my h2 and i love it. i used it to get to indy and it showed how long i had and the miles to get there and detours. its amazing. i am sad they do not have it. i was hoping it would be there when i buy mine but i think it is going to be a year or 2 out. ill just get it when i buy my 6th gen camaro.

The nice thing about OnStar is the safety features....if you're in a crash it automatically alerts you.

Other than that, I've always hated OnStar. I hate how GM tries to push OnStar through cell phones (you have to have Verizon or you'll pay extra ) Finally GM has offered Bluetooth in 2009 models so I'm happy about that.

What if you're unconscious? It alerts the authorities

Still....NAV screen and normal bluetooth FTW. It's one of the reasons why I bought my Fusion over a Malibu.

On-Star is GM's big brother.

The FBI wiretaps the microphones.

GM gets a recurring monthly fee from suckers.

Your GPS positions are transmitted to GM every 6 mins and logged. (So are your Verizon and AT&T cell phones).

Remote sensor and critical functions (key-on/off) can be remotely monitored and activated, with or without your consent or knowledge.

Cancellation of services does not prevent GM from continuing to monitor, nor the FBI to wiretap your microphone.

If you want to be monitored everywhere you go, anytime you go, to have that information available to the dominant politcal party in power or investigative service, public or private to have that information, then On-Star is for you.
