Turn on RS fog lights?

"Considerable low cloudiness with rain and showers is expected tonight through early Tuesday morning... along with fog. Some of the fog could become locally dense at times toward the morning."

Fog lights aren't for seeing anything, they're for making it easier for other people to see you. I normally think that people who run around with their headlights and foglights on are inconsiderate dweebs. Unless, it's foggy, of course.

Speaking of which! On the RS, the foglights are the daytime running lights. I don't have a switch to turn them on, when the automatic headlights come on. Or, have I missed something?

Friday morning, I tried out the Camaro SS in blinding rain. Ended up sheltering in Denny's with a bunch of other wussies who were fond of being able to see where they were going. Tomorrow morning, fog? This bird is getting certified for "all weather operations" pretty quick!

there are no "fog lights" on the rs. they are daytime running lights. they come on when the headlights or halos arent on. there is no way, right now, to keep them on all the time or use them as a fog light.

Not light related but have you tried putting rain-x on your windows yet? It makes a HUGE difference when driving in the rain, especially huge downpours.

My last 2 vehicles I've used it religiously and any time I drive one our company cars without it in the rain, I wonder how the hell people get by without the stuff on the windshield.

Howdy, Brandon,

Matter of fact, I cleaned a bug off of the windshield last week with RainX Glass Cleaner. I need to either polish that stuff off, or do the whole windshield, because that patch behaves very differently than the rest of the windshield.

I like RainX very much, haven't yet applied it but I will. Back glass, too!

I like the RainX windshield wiper fluid for cars that don't have nozzles on the hood that squirt over the paint. If you care about your wax job, squirting RainX cleaner fluid on it won't help.
