Camaro is down 6k units...pretty much no chance in passing the Mustang with 1 month left. I do expect Mustang numbers may dip after news of the 305hp V6 w/30 mpg.

November
Camaro 6,867
Mustang 3,627

We shall see? post '10 I'm really wondering how the '11 numbers will shake out, epsecially after all the magazines start getting the '11 Mustangs for comparisons.

The powertrain deficency will have been addressed on paper (I say this since there is no replacement for displacement on the N/A V8 cars) and right now it still looks like Mustang will have a weight advantage aiding it in the fun to drive catagory, but the F5 is still fresh in its design and it still wins out in the better equipment catagory with an IRS.

Good time to be a Mustang or Camaro fan in any event.

No way to catch them THIS year in 2009. Since both cars are 2010 models, it looks like the sales race is far from over yet.
