I can't drive at night because the tail lights, dash lights, fog lights are all out.
I checked the fuses and everything is good.
Before, I could play with the headlight switch and the radio display will go out but everything else would come back on. Now the radio display is on all the time but none of the other lights will come on. I swapped the headlight switch and the new switch did the same thing. I pulled the radio out but still no lights.

Any suggestions?

 

Check for all the voltages and grounds to the switch with a volt/ohm meter. Just keep checking further up the line till you find a common source. Maybe pick up a Hayes or a shop manual. I just went through a very tricky problem. One of my grounds would stick high then drop low after a few minutes. It was caused by a bad external fuel pump. Not sure I needed a full shop manual but they are excellent to have. You can get a good used one on ebay for like $40 shipped!

Problem turned out to be a bad headlight switch.
It all started with the light on the radio going out when the lights are one.
Probably had something to do with the dimmer wire.
Because of that I was constantly messing with the headlight switch which made it eventually go bad. Replaced the radio and headlight switch and everything is good.
Hope this helps someone in the future.
