Chevy reconvened the Camaro focus group last week at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch outside of Vegas.

There were some ZL1s for us to drive, but not enough. Much to our chagrin, the overflow vehicles were mere Corvette ZR1s from the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School which is held at Spring Mountain. We got to take laps for about 3 hours.

I took a few pics and videos with my Droid RAZR. There was no way I could hold the RAZR steady enough at speed by hand. The course had too many turns.

I suspect we may be seeing some better on track video footage in the coming days.

The last one was a Spring Mountain instructor driving the ZL1 for the first time and when he got out of the car, he expressed approval off-camera.
