[Exterior] Convertible - Dealer Prep Time?

Convertible - Dealer Prep Time?
I just bought a 2011 Camaro Convertible. At first the sales person said it could be ready for delivery in 2 hours (it just arrived by carrier this morning). Now she says they need 2 days due to special work they have to do with the convertible top. Does anyone know what this is about? She was very vague and didn't understand either she said... I am wondering if there is something else wrong with the car (shipping damage) that they don't want to tell me?? Any help out there?

Re: Convertible - Dealer Prep Time?
First, congrats on your purchase.
However, something sounds odd. They typically want to get the car off their grounds.
I would ask what special work they need to do, and if there are any problems, point blank.
Have you seen the car?

Re: Convertible - Dealer Prep Time?
Thanks Jason - I went to the dealership. They described work needed to be done as directed by Chevrolet. Their description had to do with a bar and water retention bag that needed to be reworked. Still pretty vague. Subsequently my wife found "water management bag," GM Tech Bulletin # P10406. Apparently, Chevrolet has had some issues with a specific VIN range and our car is impacted. The dealer said this is only the 2nd convertible they had gotten and previously didn't know about the service bulletin.
