I think they know the V8 people will call them out if they try that BS move and I'm sure the car rags will as well. The V8 guys are generally more enthusiast than the V6 people, not always but a good percentage are compared to the 6'ers.

 

See, I like the interior in the car.
It's nice that it doesn't look like every other car out there.
It could use a bit of improving, though.

The radio/HVAC controls need to be a little more conventional looking. And it needs a full LCD screen w/nav (optional).
The gauges need help. They need to look much more upscale. Perhaps electro-luminescent?
The stainless-look pieces need to be real stainless.
Softer touch materials would be nice.

And there should be an option to delete those huge plastic translucent door panel inserts and replace them with either a nice pleated leather or a nice pleated cloth.

I've sat in several of them and have found no issues with visability. But maybe that's because I'm taller.

So other than those few things mentioned above, the interior is fine.

And I'm all for more power. As long as it's real and not a paper-only thing.

 

What would be the point of re-rating the powertrain if the goal is to make Camaro more competitive with Mustang? The only races that would win would be bench-racing and V8 Camaro buyers wouldn't stand for such nonsense.

If there is a power boost for MY2012, it will have to be a real boost and not a fictional one on paper.

 

This just in the 2012 Ford Mustang GT to get a 18 horsepower 10 torque bump with Direct Injection...

 

yeah, the ONLY way I've seen the rustang beat the SS is w/ the option for the gear swap.

FYI....so far....all the quickest bone stock Mustangs are either 3.31 (standard) or 3.55 geared.
