Ya know after looking at the live reveal pics for while, I have found something I dont like. The top egg crate grill has got to go, it totally clashes with the contemporary( way better looking) bottom grill . Hopefully GM makes an attemt to match the lower and upper grill patterns, if not with the same pattern as the lower , a different pattern that matches up better.

So I give it an 85 out of 100. I really like the car, however the hood, and front end are heavy handed, and really don't have a "classic" look. Not really styled in a way that says Camaro. It is almost ganarish like a WS6. On the interior, I am cool except for the Cruze steering wheel. I know it is just the parts been steering wheel with a nicer rim..but still..

It looks like they yanked that steering wheel out of a Volt.
Even though we are nit picking, this is going to be one seriously bad a** machine!

I am officially turned on. By the way, regarding the weight (and I'm NOT here to bash; I am in love with this car), Car and Driver stated in their press release coverage that the weight gain was more or less a wash, so it will be very similar to an SS, or around 3900 lbs. Weight added to the driveline (mainly the supercharger / intercooler assembly, I'm assuming) was counteracted by reductions at the wheels (an impressive 22 lbs difference, despite being wider wheels and tires), the hood, and elsewhere.
I'm a little skeptical that they kept it that close, but it would be awesome if the car came in around 39xx instead of ~4100 lbs. I wonder which is closer?
I think the listed weight for an SS coupe is around 3860 lbs, so staying the same or close at ~3900 would rock, and even 3950 would be a rather welcome.
Either way, this thing is going to go (and TURN) like a bat out of hell, I believe.

A bone stock original car will always be worth more than a modified "custom". Barrett Jackson auction prices are evidence of that. The exception to the rule would be cars built/modified by known shops.

Sunroof? Nav?
I like this car, and I think it's pretty cool that it's called a ZL1.
Not sure if I missed it somewhere, but do we know if it can be ordered with a sunroof?
Also, I'm starting to get a little annoyed that we aren't seeing anything to do with navigation, other than a backup camera in the rear-view mirror (which actually is nice on the little GMC SUV) to navigate out of the driveway....

There is no sunroof option for the ZL1.
I don't see the big deal with nav. I think few people would rarely need it all the time, and if they do, they can get a Garmin at 1/10th the price.
The backup camera was to help address the visibility issues that some have.

On-star was also the only navigation that was recommended for use for the superbowl.

Is it possible to get the black part of the hood painted the same color as the rest of the car form the factory, not digging the 2 tone color scheme, also don't want the black stripes on the roof either. I read somewhere that it is carbon fiber but that can be painted body color as well hopefully. If the car was one solid color I might like it better. If the Car and Driver $47k price I saw is correct it could be tempting if the color for the hood and roof get squared away. Don't like the Pep Boys look so far. I basically want the motor so I guess I can look past the exterior a bit.
