I agree!

One of my friends asked when my car would be on E-bay.

There's plenty of time to work things out and I just might win the lottery by then.

This is great news and all, and I may be the only one thinking this, but what about the z/28?

No, you are definitely not the only one. Not by a long shot.

Granted, I say we as in the majority of the voices out there. In addition we cannot have everything that we want just the way we want it. However, If history repeats itself, the Z28 name won't be forgotten. I mean...what else is left? Is anything on the radar to directly compete with the Boss 302?

Other than the name, I love everything about this new super Camaro. Pricing is going to be the factor in whether or not one is in my future.

As an alternative, I'm now considering picking up a used V6. They're competitively priced now, and when the convertibles start dropping, I imagine you'll be able to pick one up or a song.

I think if you look at the tire specs for the CTS-V you'll see that transplanted to the Camaro maybe a little wider. It is essentially a similar car. The ZR1 has 285's up front and 335's in the rear. The CTS-V has 255's up front and 285's in the rear. It would expect to see somewhere in between 285's and 315's for the rear feet. I think there was rumor of 330's but I don't think 330's are even a size that is currently made. Doesn't mean it can't be engineered for the car though.

Looks like I'll be waiting a little longer for that duramax.

Z-28? Good call Becky.

I'll start guessing for the next one - Jay Leno edition...rebadged as Z28 in 2013....Fred's brother Bill's uncle Joe's wife Julie's daughter said so.

Totally agree. If they come out with a serious track burner for competition with the Boss 302, I think that would exceed my expectations of a true Z28. Love that they did not call this one the Z28. I was in the market for a 2012 SS but I think i'm waiting to see what's in store for the future. Unless this rumored 45th anniversary car blows my mind... it would sit nicely next to my 25th anniversary in my garage. But let's not get into that.

305 wide out back. Check the close up of the back wheel pics.
