Red Jewel, I'm guessing, is a dark metallic red?
The Imperial Blue is much darker than Aqua. It's almost a midnight blue. The Red Jewel is a metallic red with a red tintcoat. It's an extra cost paint. Both of those colors are available on Cobalt right now.

I find it very unlikely that white won't be offered at all. It was the most popular color for cars last year. Green is "out" right now after a long run of popularity in the late 90s/early 2000s, but it will come back around someday.

It's been awhile since I posted here and this subject may have already been talked about..... I work for a dealership as a painter in the body shop, anyway I was looking up a color today and saw that the Camaro was listed and the year was for 09. So I looked up the vehicle 2009 Camaro and there was a list of colors for the 09 Camaro! Now whether these are set in stone I have no idea, either way it brought a smile to my face

Here is the list:
Chevrolet Camaro WA301N Exterior Red Jewel Met 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA403P Exterior Imperial Blue Met 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA503Q Exterior Ink Slate Met 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA518Q Exterior Mocha Bronze Met 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA636R Exterior Switchblade Silvr Mt 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA638R Exterior Aqua Blue Met 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA8555 Exterior Black 91 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA911L Exterior Dk Tarnishd Slvr Met 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA9260 Exterior Victory Red 09 - 09
Chevrolet Camaro WA9414 Exterior Yellow 09 - 09

Later

Imperial Blue - 08 Cobalt , 08 HHR , 08 Implala , 08 Malibu

Mocha Bronze metallic - 08 Impala

Dark tarnished Silver - 08 Impala

Red Jewel Tintcoat - 08 Corvette , 08 Impala , 08 Malibu , 08 CTS and Buick ....this was the color that replaced magnetic red .

Logical Guesses ....
Ink slate metallic - the Slate metallic( dark grey) from the 08 Impala , 08 Cobalt , 08 HHR

Switchblade Silver metallic - 2008 W-cars Silver metallic .

Aqua Blue metallic . This name was used on the SSR's . This color is also used on a Pontac Grand Prix renamed Blue Green Crystal , its also used on the Equinox , has been used on the Escalade and more . If your not familiar with it , its a extra cost tri-coat paint that flips colors between Aqua , green and purple . Basically looks like 97-2000 F-body Mystic Teal on major steroids .

With the exception of Yellow ....looks like all those colors currently come out of the Oshwa paint booth .

So basically, the Camaro will be lost in a sea of cars sharing the same semi boring colors....
I had hoped for a NEW pallet, one which would show the excitement and power(impact) of the "new" Camaro.

But, this might not be a done deal either, so I keep my hopes up until something is revealed from corporate.

^Personally I had hoped for them to start with hugger orange right away since it is a classic color, but then again they might want to hold that for the convertible.

Not a bad exterior color selection.....but now what about interior colors? Chargers and Challengers don't have any interior color selection to speak of. Either light grey or darn near black grey....and their SRT models only have the dark color available. Geez....nice way to give the customers what they want huh? Mustangs supposedly have colors other than dark grey (black) available, but Ford does'nt see fit to provide dealers with any cars in any of those other colors.
I want a choice of a couple light colors for the interior of my vert. I hate getting into hot seats on sunny days.

Guys...it makes sense that the current colors in GM's database are the only ones finalized right? More to come.

that ink met or dark tarnished silver sounds good to me, always wanted a gunmetal-ish camaro.

I certainly hope so. I'm torn between buying a C6 or Z28, but not offering white for the camaro would actually make for an easy decision, unfortunately.

Have Faith... Until we get a sales brochure confirming those are the ONLY colours, this isn't a finalized list...
