1 camaro sale postponed
#16
I've been postponed because with my wife being pregnant, keeping the 4 door Legacy and paying it off seems like a no brainer now. Now... after that's payed, a 2010 or 2011 Camaro for weekend cruising.... Heck, maybe even commuting to and from work, cause I have a feeling the Camaro is going to get better in town mileage than that fuel guzzling turbo

I'm going to need a economy/winter car this fall.
I've looked into Cobalts,G5's,Civic's,WRX's, but I'm leaning toward a SRT4.
But another part of me wants to just get a $2k dollar FWD beater for the winter. And get another RWD performance car such as the new Camaro, challenger, or maybe a '01-'02 Camaro SS to go with my T/A.
Decisions,decisions

3 years is too long to wait? Not really. But...what you are saying is that GM is producing cars right now that you'd like to own before moving towards a Camaro. That is great news you are considering General Motors. The Camaro is doing its job.
Remember the GM of yesteryear when it took them 4 or 5 years to move from concept to production?

I have heard that out of $7.00 that $1.00 goes across the seas and the other 6 stays here. For Toyota its $1.00 stays here and the other 6 back over seas.

Well i think I'm going to get a Sport Cobalt in 2008 and the camaro will be postponed. They are a few reasons its going to be postponed because i need something for gas and a little sporty and frankly I'm tired of waiting on the camaro.
Few reasons is when it finally comes out it could look completely opposite of the concept, The prices may be to high.
If i like the camaro i might save up and buy one in 3 or 4 years. By that time the aftermarket should be good and the price gouging will be down and the bugs will be worked out. If its like the 3rd and 4th gens. then i will not worry about 15 years down the road i can buy one that looks almost identical as the 2009.

However, Cobalt SS is IMO a perfectly good and quick car & I haven't met anyone yet who didn't enjoy theirs.
I don't think Chevy will have a problem selling the Camaro you might have bought to someone else, so you both win.
