There is a thread going that addresses the production question- and it looks like in a real world situation-18-25 months. Im just passing on info - im sure you can find the thread.

This thread gives me the impression that the the concept based on the 69 that people have been salivating over for 35 years design is going to be outdated in 2? I dont know about anyone else but Ive been wanting a car similar to this from the mid 90's two years will be a cake walk and Ill have time to hopefully be in a better financial situation. Hopefully a house of some sort. If the car looses the 69 ques it has now by production my $500-$600 GM card incentives which will be 1500 in two years time wont be used...

You wanna be technical. The 3.8T was installed by PAS not in a GM plant. Again it is a car that was worked on by an aftermarket company before it reached the dealers. I could call that factory or aftermarket either way it was VERY nice.
PAS was not an "aftermarket" company. They were contracted for R&D and got the assembly portion as well. ALL specialty parts in the TTA are made by GM, so is the warranty. You can't say either for the Firehawk.
