Between the 2, what car would you pick...

2010 Camaro or C6 Z06?


I'm debating on those 2.

 

well which are you more of fan of? Me i'd take the camaro

 

be hard to pass on a Z06.

 

What model Camaro? What options, etc? Do I have to pay fair market value for whichever one I pick, or is it a gift? If it's a gift, is it subject to income tax?

Given the right answers to all of the above questions, it's possible I'd pick the Camaro, but most likely I'd pick the Corvette.

 

Camaro all the way, everytime i sat in a corvette i felt squeezed and claustrophobic... in my 2+2 third gen i can at least breathe a little.

Also the looks, have you seen the new Camaro ? Wow !

 

This is the story: We have another $20,000 left on the house. My wife told me to pick either a C6 Z06 (2007) or wait til the new camaro comes out. It's a hard call to make.

 

I guess I'd get the Corvette, but go sit in/test drive one at a dealership and make sure you like it.

 

If you have the means go with the C6 Z06. I have a C5 Z06 looking to upgrade to the C6 Z06. The C6 Z06 is just mean and nasty and flat out AWESOME (Test drove a few).

I am excited about the Camaro and have a deposit down but I would jump on the C6 Z06 in a heartbeat given the chance. They are out of my range at the moment but someday.....someday....

 

Camaro for me...gotta have a back seat for my son.

 

Get the Vette now.... then get the top dog camaro in '11

 

to me it would depend on what your needs are. Do you need a back seat at all? Kids space friends occasionally etc. If not you just lost a ton of weight below what a base vette is by choosing Z06. Camaro will be cheaper obviously but keep in mind initial markups. Id wait for the top dog. I like the extra space. Both look good. all in what you want.

Honestly if you dont need the back seat and Z06 is in your price range that would be sweet! Id pass on Camaro markups...

 

If you have the financial means I would just get a C6 Vette now and then get the top dog Camaro when it comes out. Both together should be about the same price as a new Z06 correct?

 

If you can get the Z06 go for it. It's a Vette and save the ZR1 the baddest one ever made. It has more power and performance than any of us will ever or want to use.

IMO the 2010 Camaro is flat out cool because of it's new style and wow factor. But I doubt it will hang with a Z06.

Either way you can't go wrong.

 

ever think of a 08 Z51 vette?

 

That is what they call a no brainer. Doesn't matter what trim level the Camaro is. The Z06, hands down.
