2010 Camaro must have item!

If it's a repost or in the wrong place, mods please move.

We all knew there would be something on it, but here it is.

I'll definitely be picking up 1, maybe 2 of these.

About the book:

Description: The rebirth of the ultimate muscle car, in images of prototypes and pre-productions vehicles, interviews with engineers and executives, and jaw-dropping photographs of the new Camaro.

Could be good. Just depends on it's production value.

Interesting. I wonder how in-depth this book will go. Did the author get some GM clearance to ride along in developement of the car like Jim Schefter did in "All Corvettes Are Red"? Because that would be great.

I wonder if Scott had any input on that book.

It's probably just an "Unauthorized biography" type of thing. Licensing can be extremely expensive.

I believe he did. He mentioned at least one book to me the other day and I think this was the one.

FWIW, it is less than $20 in our Amazon store, under the "Hot New 2010 Camaro Products!" category
https://www.camaroz28.com/amazon/

Or, if you like a direct link...

Larry was out in Milford doing interviews with the disciples in the spring of '07, writing down our thoughts and impressions after driving the convertible concept and how we felt it related to our life Camaro experiences.
I thought his questions were insightful and poignant - a very nice guy who seemed genuinely impressed with the passion for the vehicle.
I definitely needed to take a second in order to put my thoughts together before answering his questions!

I am very much looking forward to reading this book!!!

Best regardSS,

Elie

this is a MUST-READ --

I've had the priviledge of proof-reading the book -- and this is a very in-depth look at the development of the new Camaro. Larry has travelled all over the world during development of the car -- and has talked to just about everyone involved with bringing back this American Icon.........

I ended up ordering (2) of these and another 40th Anniversary Camaro book last night. Got offered $10 off with Bill Me Later option from Amazon.........All three for $60 and free shipping......Whoohooo!!

I hope everyone opted for the Amazon pre-order.........it's significantly cheaper and they offer free price-protection as well.

That would be awesome to get this around the same time as the car.......

That's all I needed to hear. Sounds like this will be the book we have been waiting for about the 5th gen Camaro development.

It's going to be interesting to hear some info from the GM side while we were all speculating and debating things on the net.
