Not that I have heard, but I'll bet someone here knows. Hopefully they will post up.

Do you know if and when we can start pre-orders? and if so what the pre order process like? I've never done this before and would liek to order one suited for me and how much do you have to put down for a car you pre ordered?

Much too soon for pre-ordering. If a dealership tells you that they'll take cash to hold it, then all you can do at this point is hope that they keep their word...

Let's not get into that debate for the 100th time. There's far too many other threads about it already that can be used

Times have changed, things are different. We will just have to wait and see which packages come out when. When it is announced, the first post in this thread will be updated.

Hopefully the gestapo at GM will not force removal of this thread.

Doubtful, it is info that anyone can get from a dealer by asking. They know by now that it is also here anyway.

Asked this question a while back, but perhaps too early at the time for anyone to respond, but is there any idea as to whether or not GM will be using composite body panels again (sort of like they did on the fourth gens)? It's really nice being able to back the car into a parking spot and not have to worry about dings on the doors and front fenders when you come back out again.
