So the question is, did they actually get more power from the engine or did they just up the rating?

i wish i had HUD. i love it on my dads vette. too bad it couldnt have been available at launch.
glad the green is on all models now. should have been from the get go.
i wonder if it can be on the 2ss with leather? and will it still get green stitching? and will ambient lighting be green?

I'm wondering how easy it will be to implement the HUD in my 2010.

Fairly sure you'd need a whole new windshield...

With all engines being SAE rated now they don't have the luxury of bluffing the numbers.

Yup, there was a change made that got the engine re-rated.

It just says HUD will be standard on 2SS and 2LT, I assume it will probably be optional on the other trim levels?

What is different? I suppose it could also be possible that the 2010 was designed for HUD and got a HUD compatible windshield, but HUD just never came out in 2010. Wasn't it originally a late 2010 option? or am I thinking of another car.

it was believed that it would be a late 2010 option... we might already have the correct windshield glass for it... if there is a special thing for it..

I had the HUD in my 2002 z06 and loved it... i hope i can retro fit the HUD into my 2010...

Another site said they just rated the engine for 91 octane. Nothing else changed??

According to the folks on GMI, this will make the V6 Camaro faster than the V6 Mustang.

Not necessary. It helps but is NOT required for it to work. Ask any of the Vette guys who have upgraded theirs.

DING, DING, DING, DING !!!! We have a winner !!!!

j/k

There are many good people there. There are also alot of people, who, the closest they have been to a track, is driving by one on the freeway. Some of these same people think that Ford has a huge advantage over GM, on the V6, because they use a 3.31 gear, vs 3.27 for the Camaro.
