You know what your right, that looks like a completely random set of letters and numbers. Hell I don't believe its a Camaro or a Chevrolet even, I mean how do you really know what it says under the duct tape on the emblems? It must be a Trans Am.

NEWS: Spy Shots: 621-hp Supercharged 2012 Camaro Z28
Filed under: Spy Photos, Coupe, Performance, Chevrolet
It's been rumored for far too long, and now it's finally coming into focus. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been caught by the long lens of Priddy & Co., complete with ultra-wide tires, a revised exhaust, intimidating hood bulge and a sizable front splitter. But how do we know what's under the hood?
The shooters caught the high-po Camaro with its passenger door open, and stuck on the plastic dash is a piece of paper that reads "2012 Chevrolet Camaro, 6.2L SC V8, 6AT." Break that down and it means the Z/28 is packing the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 LSA fitted to the 556-horsepower Cadillac CTS-V, mated to a six-speed automatic. Naturally, a proper manual will be available as well when the Z/28 goes on sale sometime next year.

Darn you GM why couldn't they list if the 6.2L SC was the LSA or LS9...
It would make our speculation talk for the next year easier.
I do like what looks like the Bumblebee/Jay Leno nose on this car.
Those look like CTS-V brake calipers too. Car looks lowered compared to the SS.

The car itself is probably one of the old recycled mules or preproduction test cars from 09 . So no new interior sneak peaks . GM just needs to strike a deal with CCW and make these production They use the sp550 rim on about all their hi-po proto cars .

It is going to a great car I'm sure with the S/C 6.2, hope that new interior for 2012 is a 100% improvement over the 2010/11.

Sure, so they're testing the LSA, LS9, or some other new SC6.2L configuration, what appears to be a wider set of tires (with aftermarket wheels on it for now), and a new front fascia, on what appears to be an otherwise standard-issue '10-11 Camaro.
That's it. There's no confirmation of anything for 2012, Z28, or Camaro for that matter. It's just a test car.
They tested a twin-turbo 6.2L Corvette before settling on a supercharger for the ZR1. I'm sure if there was a Corvette6.com populated with the same sort of juveniles you can find at Camaro5.com, they would have been screaming "confirmed!!!" about that too.
