25 2010 Camaros on locate dealer lot
Hello Everyone
I stopped by a local Chevy dealer (Chapman Chevrolet in Philadelphia) to see if there were any 2010 Camaros on the lot. I arrived shortly after the dealer closed and I saw, through the window) there was a Yellow V6 Camaro on the showroom floor. At first, I thought that was the only one they had, however I decided to take a look around.
All the way in the back of the dealership I noticed another Yellow Camaro and closer I got the more I kept seeing. In total there were 24 that I counted in one remote section of the dealership plus the one on the showroom floor. All the cars at Chapman were V6 models and a mixture of Red, Black, Silver or Yellow Exteriors. I did not look at every single VIN number but the ones I looked at were in the higher 2000s.
I have to say it was really AWESOME to see Camaros back at a Chevy Dealership. I was somewhat surprised to see them being stored in such a remote area as I would have thought the Camaros would have been upfront, so people could easily spot them. Or it might have something to do with the unveiling scheduled to take place on May 6th?
Here are a few pictures that I took with my Blackberry, so they are not that great.

I found a 2LT non-RS model here in San Jose, Ca. at Carl Chevrolet which the dealer had unfortunately ordered with a sunroof (does the hardtop have more headroom than the sunroof equipt models?) and after salivating all over it for 30 min. and helping the throng of eager onlookers understand just what this car as well as the SS model are capable of I noticed the sticker.........HOLY $h!T!!!
They marked up a 2LT non-RS model to.....and I kid you not.....$32,000!!!!!!! The salesman said that they priced it to try and keep it in the showroom for a while, but also said that supply and demand played a part in the ASTRONOMICAL MARK-UP! Scary thing guys...I stopped by later today and they SOLD that V6 model! He also said when i told him I wanted a 2SS fully loaded without sunroof to give him my number and he'd have one for me in a day or 2....for about $39,000 after mark-up.

On the OP, awesome that your local dealer has 25. Nice pictures. I gotta say though, I hate the Victory Red with White stripes, if that is Victory Red and not Inferno, looks like Victory Red to me.
Thats not really that bad of a markup depending on the options. If It was a 2LT + Automatic Transmission + Sunroof = 2,500 markup. You can take the stance that any markup is a bad markup, but ive seen posts were markups have been 5-10k. A 2,500 markup is hardly astronomical.

I can confirm it was Victory Red. All of the cars had a stripe package and I am not sure if they are installed at the factory or at the dealer. I noticed a note on the inside of each Camaro with instructions not to wash the car until a certain date due to the stripes being installed.
