3 Questions......
1. Will there be support for the 5th gen from GMPP - i.e. the Stage I/II packages for the Cobalt SS/ION Redline?
2. Will GM campaign the 5th Gen in racing? SCCA, etc. etc.?
3. Will Scott get his old job back?

Re: 3 Questions......
Well currently, the only stage kits that are available from GM are for the RL and SS/SC. I don't beleive they make them for any other vehicle whether it be SS or not.
Nowadays, it seems the whole "stage upgrades" are being reserved for tuner cars, ie STI, EVO, and the recent SRT-4.
BUT, mustang has the rousch stages that maintain your warranty so i definately forsee GMPP jumping on the boat. Heck, with so much "behind the scenes" action that the camaro currently has, i wouldn't be suprised if GMPP wasn't using the Cobalt SS/SC as a guinea pig for the camaro.

Re: 3 Questions......
As for #3, no. There is someone new at the helm, which of course couldn't be mentioned until today and I won't mention myself until I have been given explicit permission to do so.
Scott loves his new position as Manager of Shows and Exhibits. From what I understand, he is happier doing his JOB where he is at, but make no mistake, his passion for the Camaro has not wavered in the least.
From what I gather, Scott will still have a hand in things now and again but the new person also gets the seal of approval from Chris Frezza and myself without question.
More details to come...

Re: 3 Questions......
I would really like to see the stage I/II type upgrades as there are for the cobalt. I would also love to see the Camaro race in some professional series and I'm sure it will. We just have to wait and see what happens to the Trans Am series and the possible Nascar muscle car series. And as has been mentioned Scott has said he won't be returning to his old job.
