I cannot wait! My wife and I have a long standing deal. When I turn fifty I can get a Vette. Not now, 5th gen is the one for me. I am trying to wait till the end of the year. My 50th birthday will be mid december. The current delivery time seems that an october ordering date should put me in line for a dacember delivery. This may be the best anyway. I was reading about HUD possibly being offered by then . Anyways here's to 5th gen anxiety .

 

Just think about people like me who are going to wait until next year. What color are you getting?

 

Not sure abou the color yet. I have been playing on the build a Camaro site almost daily. I do know that the hockey puck stripes are a must for me. I want the sunroof. Also the 2LT/RS is the trim for me with the 6 speed. My '02 Z28 will remain with me so I can use the good mileage from the six cylinder 5th gen.

 

Well, here's to waiting!! Not to mention praying that the Camaro is not hurt by GM's delema right now. Which i have heard that the Camaro will be safe, but that doesn't mean I'm not going back and forth wondering if I should really wait that long. I as well would like to see the HUD make it onto my Camaro when I get it.

My birthday is in October, so I was kind of planning on the same idea, but I would go in ON my birthday to place the order for her. As long as I get her ordered and assured that I will recieve one, I would care at that point the amount of time it would take to actually take delievery of it, within reason of course. My thought would be if I could get her by the time spring 2011 comes around, I would be ok with that!!

 

I have a similar deal I made with myself (and my wife will honor it) when I joined the military in 1994. Once I am promoted to MSgt (E-8) I am going to reward myself by purchasing a car for "me". Well, results come out May 14, and I really hope my names on the list!

I know how hard it is to wait, make sure it's what you want!

 

white will be out by that time too. i wish i could have the patience to wait and hold a deal. but i cant and i wont make deals with this car. i had to have mine ASAP.

The wait won't be long. We're already 5 1/2 months into the year. She'll be in your garage soon enough .
