The odds of anyone under 18 (barring using "Mommy & Daddy's" money of course) buying a new Camaro are probably slim to none. I wouldn't consider that an age group of "potential" buyers.

The Camaro driving (actually, driving PERIOD) experience of those under 18 is extremely limited. Hardly the type of person you want to rely on for an opinion on what "works" and what doesn't.
You make some good points,i dont think that the under 18 age group will add much to the new car market but i think that it will afect a major part of the used car market. It might also affect future sales from the way it sounds gm is planing to keep this desing for awile. I myself plan on buying a used camaro a few years after it comes out (when i get the money) .

Don't knock the minors! They can contribute. For example, they might reccommend soup can exhaust tips and neon lights under the car.

I know some 18yr olds that love the American Muscle cars & tend to try to own these cars.

My Nephew just bought his first vette after selling his 73 mustang. Yes his daily driver is a toyota 4runner (80s style) but he loves his vette. He is always after me to sell him my 87 roc

I'm leaving San Fran at 8:20 AM arriving in Detroit at 3:52 PM on Sunday (cuttin' it close!). Depart from Detroit for SF at 7:36 PM on Monday.
Good thing I checked my email when I did, as GM had me flying out of Toronto and any changes had to be made within 24 hrs... and it's Friday afternoon!

Best regardSS,

Elie

Yeah, I just got to work this afternoon and happened to check my email.
Good thing I came in today or I wouldn't have seen it until Monday!

I'm not checking bags. It's carry-on only to make the connecting flights (only 30 minutes to change planes) in Chicago.

As long as you can fit in an overhead bin, I'm sure the airline won't mind.

I spoke to Jo this afternoon and had the option of an earlier departure from SF with a connecting flight but don'cha know, it arrives in Detroit only 20 min. earlier than the later non-stop!
Fuggeddaboutit!!

Direct flight here for this Canuck!
I couldn't believe how quickly everything fell into place during this call to Jo! The whole process took less than 5 min. to change the flight from Toronto-Detroit-Toronto to SF-Detroit-SF... and that included checking out a couple of different flight options...
Confirmed flight info arrived in my mailbox within minutes!
Way t'go!

Best regardSS,

Elie

This Canuck is going to be flying low. I'm planning a lazy, top down, 2 day trip via Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. After the Summit I'll be meeting up with the Mrs. in Brampton and we'll take the North of Superior route home. It's been too long since our last road trip to wait any longer.

This sounds like a super trip! "Getting there (and back) is half the fun!" No need to hook up in Toronto this time, though!
Just watch out for a real "dirty" speed trap in Terrace Bay, ON on westbound Hwy 17!

Best regardSS,

Elie
