5th Gen RS/SS Chop (My version)

I definitely dig the Camaro concept a lot and am glad to see GM back in the game. It's a great day indeed. There are things I'd change about it, as with any car, but overall, it's a sinister car with a lot of promise. Kudos to the GM designers that worked on it and to the people responsible for making the concept a reality.

Here's a chop of what I think would look pretty sweet for an RS/SS option. The hideaway headlight option is becoming so insanely popular on 69 Camaros that even the standard front end guys are going out and swapping their setups for the RS look. I think GM could pull off this look pretty easily given headlight technology and not have to worry about functioning headlight doors.

Anyway, I'm sure all this stuff's been said so I'll shut up and post my quick little photochop that I did during lunch today.

Yes it does, but going beyond that I'm even more impressed with what Kris has done to the grill. WAY more attractive and easy on the eyes.

Even if there were no hideaway headlights, I'd like to see GM adopt something similar to this instead of the grill treatment that the concept is wearing. Hell, I want to know why they still haven't hired Mr Horton and made his *** move to Michigan.

Simply Breathtaking... God damn.. I'm buying one of these regardless of my financial situation when the time comes.

I love it. Very nice.

I re-hosted it here just in case imageshack goes down again:

Thanks for rehosting it man.

I forgot to add that I didn't chop any of the body components. Those headlight pieces take up the same amount of space as the glass units on the car right now. It's totally doable!

I did ditch the ugly little scoop though...sorry, just can't like it.

Outstanding. That little change cleans up the front end a lot. Yeah, good call on the scoop too.

Chris, please make the hockey stripes dark red, or dark blue. Then at the bottom of the front end of the hockey stripe write "500hp" and in the grill put the "Z/28" logo.
maybe this hood

or here are more hoods on this page.
