And 2nd, I always thought that an SC 3.8 would make a fantastic engine for a mid level 4th gen.

Some businesses have an acct# with NJ Manufacturer's as well, you should look into it.
Insurance for my 2002 V6 Camaro (I was 27) was about $1000 a year. And I carry considerably higher levels of insurance than just the basic. (FYI to those not in NJ- $1000 a year for high insurance levels even on a V6 Camaro is cheap...) It went down a little each year of course. It may have started a little over $1000, but under $1100.

would be totally shocked it Buick didn't get at least 1 sedan out of this RWD platform, though I wouldn't bet a dime on a coupe.

I have a hard time believeing that a ~$20,995 Camaro would have the same 300HP+ DI DOHC 3.6L engine as the $35,000 Cadillac CTS, but I'd love to be proven wrong
300HP for so close to $20K would be hard not to buy. If there is no 5.3L like guionM mentioned about a week ago and the next step up is a 400HP V8 then a lot of people will be buying that V6. My personal target is 300HP+ and mid $20K's, I hope that is a V8 car, but I could deal with a DI V6 getting over over 20mpg city, 30mpg+ hwy
My money is on either 3.9L base, DI 3.6L or 3.8L optional. Or just the 267HP version of the regular 3.6L that Saturn is using.
Although since the Mustang will have a DOHC 3.5L w/ ~265HP by 2008/09 I'm not ruling out that DI base engine.
