I guess what I'm asking is, once the car is finally introduced, how long of a waiting period is there before this site will have pictures of the real deal up?

I'm just thinking of us lazy types, people like me that live less than 5 hours from Detroit, but are too cheap and (again) lazy to actually go there for this historic moment, then get flustered when pics don't show up the very second after.

um.. some people will probably get pictures uploaded as they take them. There's no doubt there will be geeks there with some sort of wireless connection.. taking pictures and uploading them as soon as possible.

I'm sure we'll have pictures ASAP from a bunch of places....

I also think Scott mentioned that the unveiling will be broadcast live. I think he gave a link to GM online TV or something like that..... I'll have to look for it I guess.

Maybe there should be a contest for who can post high quality photos first. ie no cell phone cameras.

Anyone smart and tech savvy enough if there is no wireless internet connection nearby would take them with a good quality camera and then stick the memory card in their phone (assuming they have compatibility between the two) and upload it to their blog or to a friend on standby to post.

Hmm, if there's wireless Internet access in Cobo Hall, I could have a picture up 60 seconds after they pull the cover off.

But then again, I doubt I'll be lugging the laptop around at the show hehe.

I live about an hour, but I don't have the much needed ticket for the unveiling. But if someone would kindly donate theirs, I'll be more than happy to race to be the first with it posted.
