but suffice it to say that you should check this site within 48 hours of the unveil........there WILL be a "simulcast" thru a GM website....so that ALL of our valued enthusiasts (and I know that 'valued enthusiasts may sound trite...but trust me.......we DO know you're out there and we DO care about you........).......can watch as history is being made.

There's nothing I'd like more than to have 15,000 Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts at the unveil...alas, not to be. But I will also be posting the various autoshows as to where the 'concept' will be on display.

I hope you will all get a chance to see the concept 'up close and personal'.....and then you can make your declaration as to whether we got it right or wrong........

It's as if you are saying "ya.... ya.... um...... it's a connnncept, not a production version.... ya... ya.... that's it!" And then tack on about 5 of these -->

 

He's just maintaining the "corporate position" until the 9th....

 

Ok I think that there needs to be some note sharing between Doug, Guy, Charlie, and a few others. I will be happy to read the minutes and summerize for the rest of the board. Once you guys get done with the PMs just forward it all to me and I will take care to not let any critical data out. Seriously you guys can trust me.

 

I think if he replaced 'concept' with 'Camaro', he could get his pee pee slapped by higher ups in GM!

at least i wasn't the only one that noticed everytime he says 'concept' there are always quotes..........i can only think of 2 reasons:

1- he can't say Camaro til after the 9th

or

2- it's the "yeah it's a concept, not a production model

 

As Darth said I'll have pics and videos up on my site within a couple hours if not mere minutes after the unveil...depends on where I can find a high-speed web connection.

But I have no doubt that Jason and Chris will have pics up here at CZ28 faster than any other site

I'm bringing my camera, and I'll take tons of pictures, but I won't be able to get them online very quickly.

 

Me too....I've got a Nikon D70 and my laptop, but when I'll get an internet connection 'may' not be until we get back to the hotel....unless there's an open wireless connection in COBO.

 

I will post mine, but will probably be the 25th or so, which will be once I get back to the hotel.

I really do not think it matters who has them up first. Seems this site probaly already has the GM press pictures...and probaly has them watermarked ready to go (how it probaly should be). That actual unveil will be simucast by GM or someone (until the server crashes from volume). I am guessing GM will release the rest of the press pictures within 24 hours of the unveil and they will spread over the net like wildfire. My guess is within 30 minutes of the release you no be able to find a domestic auto enthusiast website without the pics.
