Alert - Camaro ZL1 Order message with RPO B92 and RPO DSW
Message courtesy of our friends at GMConnects on Facebook:
A Message to Camaro ZL1 Customers with RPO B92 and RPO DSW from Chevrolet:
An issue has developed with the 2012 Camaro ZL1 optional Exposed Carbon Fiber Weave Hood Insert (RPO: B92) that requires Chevrolet to place a "zero availability" constraint on this option.
It is recommended to ZL1 customers remove the RPO: B92 from your order, or submit a 2012 Camaro ZL1 order WITHOUT RPO: B92 (the optional Exposed Carbon Fiber Weave Hood Insert) by Saturday, January 7, 2012.
If you have ordered the optional Dark Gray Roof and Rear Deck Lid Stripe (RPO: DSW) as well, please change the stripe to Black Roof and Rear Deck Lid Stripe (RPO: DSX), or remove the stripe option.
Please understand, if you do not take action, you risk having your order rejected by GM production control.
Chevrolet is working through issues with this option and it will eventually be available both as an orderable option - or as a Service Part (meaning that you can have it installed at a later date)
Chevrolet apologizes for any inconvinience this may have caused.
