I haven't seen any '05 GTOs that low. Used '04s with 10k miles perhaps.

I agree with the original poster. For 39k, and that's what they were going for here in Portland, Oregon, I wouldn't and didn't buy one. Under 26k and I'd be driving a GTO instead of a Vette right now.

I don't agree with the quality comment, only because I haven't personally seen an issue. But from a style standpoint, the GTO isn't cutting it. I'd buy a used Camaro before I bought a new GTO.

...I ignore the newbster comments. Just take a look at their sigs. Some of them haven't even owned a Camaro. They do however, stay up late at night, memorizing model year options and horsepower ratings.

I've been keeping up with Camaro news since I was driving my last Camaro - years now. I only recently found this site - and its been for the most part, full of the best information on the web.

So I read the newbie comments and smile to myself, knowing that I've already owned, driven and worked on with my own hands, three Camaros(two of them new), and a new Vette. And I will own another new Camaro in the near future as well.

While the "oldsters" are sipping coffee in the wee hours of the morning, posting pee-pee measuring comments, I'm actually driving the cars they are dreaming of and arguing about.

Easy killer.

There's no point in measuring pee-pees.

Mine's bigger.

The only guy that calls me Mr. is my parole officer... in between oversized ham sammich bites and Thorazine doses.

Wifey has a Harley, I ride a Busa.

We call it a "mixed marriage". Makes for some odd looks from both camps.

This is gonna get good......

How long do you suppose it will be before the first N00b comes in and starts a new SS/Z28 debate. I can see all the flamming now....

I welcome n00bs that honestly want to learn. N00bs that want to say they have exclusive info from a brother's cousins' mother's father in law and want o fight about it....well, they just don't know what they're in for

I at least have some pity for those types of people. They're trying to help and show off at the same time, but at least they're trying to help.

The ones I can't stand are the GM haters that only want to irritate everyone who supports the new Camaro by making stupid statements without any basis, logic or rational train of thought. These types of clowns are just not needed around here, and while they think they're being cool, are usually too ignorant to understand how dumb they really are.

Re: For all the newbies that have managed to crawl in here

One thing to remember don't let a persons post count fool you into thinking they are new to anything boards or cars for that matter. New people with a interest in the Camaro will be the only reason it comes back or even last if it does. Fbodfather made a good point not long ago when he was talking about all the people with Camaro's and on these boards and its hard to get 500 of them to show up for a show or gathering. If you have a better than you attitude all the time and a know it all they are going to forget about having anything to do with this bunch. I bet alot on this board from my reading it might think I am a newbe from my post count on here.

How many of you on here have owned 5 4th gens and bought 14 camaro's new starting with my first new one in 69 along with 4 Vettes

Don't look at a new post count and think they are new just new to you.
I see several on here now with very low post counts for this board but I also know they have press passes for the unvailing so do you think they are new I don't think so.
