GM needs to have another Pony car around to compete with the Mustang & the Challenger when it comes out. ok wait CHEVY needs to compete wtih these not pontiac. now if Gm was to think about bringing the Firebird back then they would have to rethink the GTO not the Camaro.

Your Insider is most likely a friend of a friend who grows coffee beans, who is the gf to the coffee producer, who is the brother of the guy that serves Scott Settlemire's Seattles Worse (ooops I mean Best) Coffee sorry scott had to make a coffee crack to you lol

NO firebird either, bank on it.All market reports and past sales figures nix GM having more then 1 sports coupe on the market.10-15 thousand units a year ala GTO won't cut it.How many V-8 rear drive coupes does ford have? Mopar?Ford sold 98K mustangs for 05.

You've been here less than two years, and have....what credentials? In other words, what the @*&# makes you so high and mighty and less "stupid"?

When you come in here and make a post like "OMG I SAW THE NEW CAMERO!!" and post a picture of Kris H's or one of the other 5 trillion "concepts" that have been drawn by everyone and there mother for the past 3 years, get ready to be blasted away.
Yes, and it happens all the time to.

Really.

If you are a n00b, just sit back and let the big boys talk, like you have been.
Please tell me you aren't serious. Unfortunately, after reading your dribble for the last year and a half or so, I suspect you are.

If you have a question about what we are talking about, you can post. But dont roll up in here posting pictures or articles from car rags that are at best 6 months behind that you think are new.
I have a better idea. If you are a "noob" that fits the description this, uh, person is talking about, please - post all the pictures and articles from car rags that you can - and please make them AT LEAST 6 months older than the "know it all I've been here for over a year and are smarter than you" crowd.

Please.

New guys just need to learn to sit back and read what is going on. With tensions rising as the show approaches, we are all on edge.
Oh please. It's just a car. Get off your high horse, junior.

N00bs dont help the situation.
Neither do wanna-be elitist ******* snobs.

Know what I mean, Vern?

Re: For all the newbies that have managed to crawl in here

wow...this thread went to crap.
I didn't start this with the hopes of attacking all the newbies....to the ones who are here to learn about our beloved fbodies, welcome, sit back and enjoy the ride, it's certainly going to be a good one. It's just really irritating almost every day when people come in here thinking they're special because they've seen a 2 year old drawing that has made its way around the net about 1231243543502334 times in the last 6 months. Or they heard from their moms, brothers, girlfriends, cousins, mother in laws friend who works at a GMC dealership but whos best friend works for Chevy and they're going to brign the Camero back in a few months and it's going to have like 600 hp and cost 22k. For all of you guys, just sit back and read up for a few weeks or so before posting, it will make you not look like a fool, and everybody here won't jump down your throat.

One more thing, IMO "Newbie Execution Squad" or any variation of it is not a way to set an example. I think it is in poor taste.

Yeah no sh**. I've never seen a bigger joke. The people that feel like they're part of some special group because they've managed to sit around and speculate month after month and after enough trial and error and making those "n00b" comments already themselves, now they feel like they're in some sort of superior position as if they personally are involved with the car.

N00b, you're such an idiot. I already said all the stupid sh** you're saying 2 weeks ago. Thus making me way cooler than you.

It's no wonder people are driven away from the community. Some of these people here have that "go away, no room for you here" attitude. We've got all the Camaro enthusiasts we care to have, now leave and take your business with you.

Re: For all the newbies that have managed to crawl in here

While I've been having my fun, I think I pointed out clearly that the noob-ripping I engage in is in jest... mostly... and that there's no reason for anyone to get all high and mighty.

So, my suggestion would be that everyone stop taking this so seriously.

Have a cup of coffee, a Pall Mall and relax.

Yeesh.

Yeah, that's me... I get REALLY, PERSONALLY, DEEPLY worked up by stuff on a message board. My blood pressure rises, my heart pounds, my fists clench and unclench uncontrollably and I lose my water in my BVDs.

Oh...

Ooooops...

That's the "Fluffy Bunnies" message board I post on, not this one.

On this one most times I just end up crying in a corner in the fetal position because my entire self-worth is wrapped up in what I post and what gets posted about me.

Keep up the good work there, Mr. Freud.

Re: For all the newbies that have managed to crawl in here

Hi, I'm a newbie.

Some of you may know me from certain other car boards, where I'm not a newbie. Unlike on those other boards, I have no relevant info or insights to contribute here, so I'm mostly gonna lurk.

It'll be nice to have a new Camaro again.

Cheers.
