Alright...who's ordered?
I'm trying to but first I had to convince my dealership that a V8 could be ordered today. Now I'm waiting on him to get out of a meeting so we can get down to business. One thing I know for sure is that while I may order from here this time (they already have a five hundred dollar deposit) I will NEVER buy an automobile from this dealership again, nor will I let anyone I know buy from here.
That said I'm excited to order and pricing is exactly on par with what I was thinking so overall it's been a great morning.

Seriously, don't let them win.

My order is in with the dealer and the deposit is made. Got it at MSRP in writing, so that is a good deal. Waiting for the final confirmation it is in the system. Can't do much else but wait and hope from Iraq. Back in the US in two weeks.

Well it's ordered, they did put it in writing that it would be for MSRP though so that made me happy.
Black exterior
Black Leather Interior
2SS/RS
LS3 w/6-speed manual transmission
When it finally gets closer and they announce pricing on accessories I want to be able to get the Hurst Short Throw Shifter, Red Interior Trim pieces, and maybe the Red engine cover...
...now we just wait

Congrats guys!
I envy you all very much!
Unfortunately, I have 3 main financial items to take care of before I make this purchase:
1-Move & start a new job in the same town as my gf (Hopefully this will happen very soon)
2-Buy a ring and get married. (Ring in 6 months - tie knot in another 8?)
3-Pay off the Z (mid 2010)
Regrettably, I’ll be ordering a 2010 model. Most likely a 2LT RS as a new daily driver.
Only good news right now, is if I get the new job I want I should have a company vehicle. This way I can keep the low miles on my ’02 for the next few years.
