Anyone 2000 Event Status or above...?

Is there anyone currently 2000 event (order) status or above who is not in the March build allocation? The reason I ask is my dealer changed my order to include the RS package; I think I was a higher status before, and I had a March 30th projected build week. I looked over the 2 page Order Workbench form and my event status was only 2000 as of 2 days ago.

The other thing that concerns me is I am listed as Priority 5 on the bottom of the first page of the Workbench form; I was told I was the 1st of 8 allocations at the dealership, and the 1st of 2 orders accepted for build during March. Does anyone know if the Priority 5 means I have been moved from 1 down to 5 when my order was changed? I've sent an email to the General Manager, but am curious if anybody can answer my questions?

I hope somebody didn't come in and offer them more money to bump you. From some of the dealers I've talked to, I wouldn't put it past them.

I hope not. So far they have been completely up front with me, and have handled it fairly; first customer to put down a deposit (me), was first to get the March build allotment. However, the General Manager has not responded to my email, so I will go in tomorrow and clear this up.

Much ado about nothing. I phoned the general Manager and cleared it up. He said that he sets the priority, and rather than start a #1 he starts a # 5 in case there are constraints and he has to move other orders in front. This way is fairer, as the person passed does not go to the bottom of the list.

Just like many people on here, my OCD won't let me relax, and trust it will work out. In appreciation for what they did, and putting up with my constant request for updates, I'm going to have to buy both my Salesman, and General Manager a bottle after I get my car.

I am still at 1100 as well. I was told by my dealer that I would have a TPW somewhere around the 3rd week of March of so, but as you can see I am still at 1100 so that is not going to happen!

No, he told me my TPW qould be the around the 3rd week of March to be built. He said he should know the 1st or 2nd week or March about the 3rd week for a build week, but I have my doubts, as with a lot of dealers!

I am not sure someone lying to me is better than someone not saying at all to me. I e-mailed my dealer Friday and asked if the 3rd week is still the TPW. I am waiting for a response back hopefully tomorrow. I was told that I was in their first consensus for March, but who knows at this point!

I have not bothered my salesperson yet since she called and told me my order had been pulled for production a couple weeks ago. I figure that I'll ask her on the 16th...that way any information I get will be more accurate and I won't be such a waste of her time. These salespeople are pretty busy trying to make a living right now, and I don't feel right about harassing them every day for an exact date of getting my car when it won't be accurate information yet anyway. It will be built when it is built and theres nothing I can do to speed up that date.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with asking a salesperson at a dealership the status of your order, especially when you are spending $37K of your hard earned money, like I am. Also, ALL salespersons have access to the CORRECT and ACCURATE information, some of them just choose not to fully understand and comprehend how to obtain that information. Anyway, congrats on your order being pulled, shouldn't be too long now!...now if I could only have my order move from 1100 I would a very happy camper!

thats their job to keep you informed about a car you had ordered. you should be the most inportant person to her now because you are a sold order. those other people coming in to test drive cars are not SOLD orders. their what you call WINDOW SHOPPERS.
