I would like to see GM use someone other than delco/bose. Maybe a company that knows how to be competative in a free market. Bose doesn't count, they just market like mad.
I did a search on ebay for a monsoon amp and it's about the size of a paperback book. 500 watts, whatever!!!
I had a 400 watt watt amp in my thirdgen vert and it was a little bigger.

I agree with you. The system in my '02 w/Monsoon sounded good.

Though not quite as powerful as the 2 900watt amps and 4 10" subwoofers in the extended cab of my 2000 S10 Xtreme. LOL But I got tired of all that vibration and bass.

 

Probably not as many as you think. I'd rather have Delco than Sony in my car.

 

I agree, Sony isnt my first choice. I've never had a problem with their ES stuff.

I used to sell it... well, I worked at a shop that carried the brand. I wouldn't say I sold it . Their own rep couldn't say "1 ohm stable" with a straight face.

I just bought a new Dodge Charger Daytona last month. Now THAT's a radio. I have to say, that I've been salivating for the new Camaro as long as anyone. And until driving the Charger with Nav, Sat.Radio, and RDS display, those things weren't important to me. but now after having them....It would kind of like be trying to live without a cell phone. Once it was thought to be a needless luxury, but once you have one you wonder how you ever lived without it. So long story short, I want the most advanced radio/gps nav system available as an option. And I will buy mine with that option.

 

How about Boston Acoustics?
