Let me preface by saying green is a nice color. I have no issues with green. I almost bought a dark green Z/28 in 1969, but opted for LeMans Blue with white stripes and white interior...
Anyway... green has been a very difficult color to sell in Corvettes. Fairway Green, when offered, hardly sold at all, in fact, it was dismal. Fairway Green was much akin to one of the early green colors popular on 1st gen Camaros... Dark Bowling Green Metallic sold marginally better.
If green is a color that will sell sifficient to justify offering it? They will make it.
Some colors that seem not "good" or "loud" actually can be quite stunning. Here's a pic of a nistoric TransAm car that is, IMO, beautiful. It would not be a color that works for a race car, but with the right wheels and white stripes... it's a stunner.

Sup with the truck wheels? Those look awful.
Not even the base Mustang comes with a steel wheel... even they get a painted aluminum wheel (smaller yes.. but much better looking).
Terrible idea, makes the car look painfully trashy, especially when we'll see so many V6 base models running around.

When could we possibly see ABM in actual sunlight? I have a Lemans Blue & White 69 SS that I would like to match my 5th gen to if the color is reasonably close. Everytime I think I have made a decision to order or not order ABM a new pic pops up and it looks completely different. I would have ordered by now if I could make my mind up on a color.

it doesnt look trashy. its just not what your used to seeing. it has a nice heritage look to it. and surprisingly, its a 18" steel wheel. not a 14" hub or nasty 15" like they put on the base mustangs.
