Below MSRP

Does anybody know of any dealers that are selling below MSRP at all? Everyone is saying now is the time to get a new car these days and get huge discounts. My friend just got a brand new 09 Ford Explorer and they went $5k below MSRP for him. My uncle just bought a brand new Honda CRV and they sold it to him at the invoice price. I just want to a V6 LT, but I can't really go above $24k or $25k at the very most. Just curious to see if any dealers will go just a little below MSRP.

this is a brand new car. and its HOT right now. its not an explorer sitting on a lot or a crv on a lot. its a camaro that isnt sitting on a lot and pretty much custom built at this moment. there probably wont be too many, if any at all selling under msrp. unless you know them very well and they are willing to lose some money selling it to you rather than someone who will pay msrp.

Right now...under MSRP will be a stunt. I am sure it can be done, but you probably need to know someone...or be someone.

There are several dealers on here that will do MSRP plus any incentives. I'm getting supplier pricing through work which comes to about $1100 under sticker. If you know someone that can get supplier pricing, they're allowed to share authorization with one friend/family member after purchase. Once mine is here (and the draw back is having to wait just a little longer to get that price) I'll probably post offering to let someone have my extra authorization since I don't know anyone looking for a new car right now.

I would not expect under to happen beyond VIP treatment until at least the 2011 model starts hitting the streets.
