Isnt that one of the test cars... I meet a guy back in 1990 driving one of the ZR1 test cars... his job was to drive it, and record his findings to GM of any problems... had to drive some 100K miles in a short period of time...

I would take this car... regaudless what it looked like cause Base is better to modify it to my specs...

Those base steel wheels remind me of the old styled GM steel wheels that could found on just about everything GM through the late 70s throughout most of the 80s especially G-Bodies.

I wonder if the new Camaro steelies will be color keyed with the cars? Or will they all be black?

All the more reason why they shouldn't be on this car.

Love the wheels...absolutely. Considering how damned expensive this car is, that's probably the model I'd buy, right there

And I'd pimp those wheels

You can do so much with the steel wheels that come on the car.

Where? I cant find the other pics anywhere. I'd like to see the other colors in base trim cause thats about all I'll be able to afford.

The Steel wheel that are on the fleet test camaro

If you actually do the research to look at the standard features, there is no steel wheel option. This is simply a test vehicle that they put no added features on like rims, or anything extra, to simply test the market viability and the engine before they go into production.

If you actually do the research to look at the standard features, the LS comes with them. Hence there being no option.

I'm not sure how I feel about those wheels. I liked those wheels on 80's GM's but they just don't seem to flow with the car.

I can't picture the typical soriety girl that loves v6 mustangs / camaros liking those wheels very much....... Maybe it's all part of a plot by GM to make you upgrade to the RS??? LOL???

I can't wait to see a black one with chrome torq thrusts!

So how much to drive off the lot in that 20k?? I still can't get over that the base model has 300 HP!!! You would never guess that from looking at it. Too bad GM couldn't have had these things out earlier..... If the banks can free up some credit I think the V6 model will sell very well!

Those wheels look very simular to the mid 70's rally sport wheels. That style still stands today. Timeless.
