I don't know Portuguese but it is quite similar to Spanish.

I think he is saying that:

I have a new "sister" this school season in that my parents have taken in a foreign exchange student from Brazil. It's only fitting that I post this on her facebook! They had her sister 2 years ago. Both know I "make the race cars" but not exactly what we do or the type of car we race.
