Thanks for developing that tool. THAT's how it's done. I like the way it eliminates the options that don't apply. Obviously, we're all on computers here. No need to be calculating stuff manually anymore...

It was almost TOO easy! Is it complete down to the smallest detail? I didn't see the Carbon Trim Kit.

It's under the additional options. I wouldn't of noticed it but it's what I want on my car.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. I have a list of known issues going in this thread.

Is the Carbon Trim Kit maybe the same as the Ground Effects Package?

Thanks. I'll make sure it gets added.

The Carbon Trim Kit is an interior option.

There's a blurry picture of it in the first post of this thread:

Nice job. There is a change that needs to be made though. A petition started on other website got GM to change their minds about offering the polished 20" wheels with the RS package on the SS.

Can you show me any official documentation indicating that GM has agreed to change it?

EDIT: Found it. Please use this thread for any more change requests.

I think it would be neat to add 0-60 1/4 mile and Nubring times to the final list or somewhere based on whether you pick V6 or V8

haha^

Your car will cost an estimated$xx,xxx
Your car will beat a Mustang by 20 seconds around the Nurburg ring.
your car will beat a Lexus IS F in a drag race by 5mph and .7 seconds.

lol..

So for ~30k you can get a nice V6, or a stripper V8.

First draft of what I would likely go for if I was rolling in cash and not waiting for the G8 ST:

Breakdown
RPO / LPO Code Description Price
1ES37 Camaro 1SS $30,995.00
MN6 Tremec TR6060 6-speed Manual Transmission $0.00
GBA Black $0.00
WRS RS Package for SS $1,200.00
AFJ Black Cloth SS Interior $0.00
UQA Boston Accoustics System $495.00
Factory Subtotal $32,690.00
VYZ White Stripe Pkg $470.00
VYV Hurst Short Throw Shifter $380.00
VZN 21-inch Wheel/Tire Pkg #2 $4,680.00
Dealer Subtotal $5,530.00
Total $38,220.00

I'd have to think it over quite a while longer with changes likely, but this would be the bones of what I'd want.

I don't see the intake, shorty headers, or cat-back on there.

ps this should be stickied and perfected/upgraded (add descriptions, maybe pictures, etc.) Or Chevy needs to sponsor it on its site.
btw thanks.

I think this thread should get a sticky because I'm always trying to find it... I'm sure I'm not the only one that continuously pricing out the Camaro.

edit: oops, didn't notice dacook requested the same thing as me in the post above.

Just wondering, is the ground effects package guaranteed on the SS models? We have an ongoing debate at 5thgen.org between a friend and myself. Your current calculator allows it, however he debates its not possible.

Mind shedding light into this particular issue?

Thanks
