The only Challenger I would consider is the SRT-8. Apparently the dealer closest to me thinks the car is still rare enough that it deserves a $5000 dealer markup over its already high price

I don't think the SRT-8 brings enough to the table to justify a $10K price difference from an R/T.

theres like 10 challangers at my local dodge dealer. just sitting. one of every color. this will be the next car on the extinct list.

I don't know... but whoever hold on to their Challenger SRT-8 is probably going to get a good chunk of money back... somehow those mopars bring big money 30 years later.

very true. but it seems like their hot(price wise) for a year then cold the next. then they come back around a few years later. they dont have a very long hot streak. im speaking older models. not new.
