Just wondering if the camaro is coming with the new vette? on either 2011 or 2012?

The Camaro is due Feb 09

Z28 due 10-11

C7 Vette is due around 11-12

Kappa 2nd gen is due 11-12

I don't know about the top model coming out a year later, but the Z28 will be out 2010 as a 2011 model.

guys, we dont know when the top model will be out yet. or if its really even going to be a Z28. we cant go around saying that it is going to happen on a specific month because we dont know for sure.

The Z28 is the top model as that has already been made clear here by those who know.

Also the engine will not be available at intro as it will not have a LS3. Good things come to those who wait.

All dates given are tenitive barring any unforseen delays.

So you're saying we're going to wait another model year before getting the LS3 in the Camaro?? So what engine (V8) IS going to be in the car ..... the LS2?!?!?!

The LS2 is already done. There haven't been any hints about the L76 being available in the Camaro. Unless GM is developing a completely new engine that no one has heard of yet (highly unlikely), that leaves the LS3.

I'm pretty sure he means that the Z28 isn't going to have the LS3 and is going to have a new engine that won't be available at launch, hence the delay until the 2011 model year.
