Re: Camaro images were leaked by toy company.
I remember toy sketches for the C6 making it online as well before introduction. I'm sure GM is getting tired of it...
Oh, and can't wait to pick up the scale model.

Did anyone see this @ autoweek:
Chevrolet Camaro
The Camaro rides on GM’s global rear drive platform, formerly known as Zeta. Power comes from the Corvette’s 400 hp LS2 V8. A production version of the car isn’t expected to go on sale for at least another three years, sources say.

Re: Camaro images were leaked by toy company.
As far as the pics being leaked from a toy company... I am somewhat skeptical because of the following (I posted this at www.ls1lt1.com as well, but it applies to this thread too) :
1) Why supply the toy company with pics of a clay mockup that shows two sides with different features? I know they could mirror-image it to complete the toy, but it just seems odd.
2) If the concept has changed somewhat since then, like we have heard, including the rear end, this would be all but useless to the toy company.
....and most imprtantly:
3) Why, on earth, would GM supply a TOY COMPANY with CAD drawings of the platform undercarriage? How detailed does the underbody of a toy need to be??

That said, don't think that's the case this time. They'd have more up to date pictures of the exterior of the car.
