I feel the same about the Camaro.

 

I'm liking the Challenger less as time goes on, however on other non-car related boards I've been reading (mainly gun boards) when presented with both alot of people thought this Camaro was ugly (probably dislike Camaros anyway, was a large vibe I was feeling...) but most liked the Challenger. I think alot of that would change when people realize how much bigger the Challenger looks and will likely feel in person compared to the Stang and Camaro...

Who knows, I personally think the rear of the Challenger kinda sucks, maybe it's just the huge one piece light setup... It's size has put me off somewhat. I think Dodge will sell all they feel like building though. Will GM hit 100k+ Camaros? Hope so but damn that seems like alot (didn't used to be, oh well...)

 

I liked the Challenger untill I realized how big it is. Sory Dodge, Chevy's gettin my money this time.

Challenger's light bar probably won't make production, IMO, but it achieved what the designers wanted. It looks like the old one, but better.

Camaro--looks like it is struggling to find an identity between new and old. It is a pretty car, but it doesnt flow--yet. Room for improvement--yes. Am I excited as hell to see a new Camaro? hell yes. I'd buy it looking EXACTLY like it does right now.

 

Its funny b/c I used to think the new Mustang looked halfway decent... then I saw the Challenger and fell in love with it... then I saw the unveiling of the new Camaro, needless to say that was it for me. GM i think you really have a winner, the sooner you put it into production the better.

 

I agree, the challenger looks pretty cool...but to me it looks like a '70 thats been in a custom shop..it looks TOO much like the old I think! the camaro looks alot like the old but there is enough difference to me! I love it!

 

prohunter4, If you dont like the Camaro, can you please go somewhere else? Im tired of you already. If you dont like it, dont buy it. If you like the dodge so much, go to the dodge site and talk about it. We heard you here already, now you have nothing else to say, except what we've already heard from you. Its not needed anymore.

 

Are you kidding? I have an idea, lets get rid of everyone who isn't totally in love with the concept. Guess what, I don't really like it either and I have been here much longer than you an I bet that I am a bigger Camaro fan than you(if you want to go that route) and if I want to express my dissapointment about the concept, I will. Don't be pissed at others because they don't fall in line with how you are thinking.

 

There are alot ofans of other cars on this site. I love the challanger concept to. People can have whatever feeling they want. Lay off the guy.

 

I'm brand loyal--but not to the extent where I think everything else sucks. The Challenger looks nice IMO--but I still prefer a GM product because I know more about them, and I'm used to them.

 

I still like the Challenger concept the most.

The key word is concept though.

When I look at the Challenger concept and the Camaro concept in my minds eye I compair them to the Mustang concept, not the production car.

As concepts go, and until I see them in real life I personally rank the Challenger 1st, the 'maro is sorta tied with the stang.

I am out of step with alot of people...I like the production stang better than the concept.

I hope I will feel the same about the Camaro.

As it stands right now I like the production Mustang better than the Camaro and I am pretty sure I like the Challenger the most.

Seeing all three in real life could change my point of view.

I just can't wait for the day all three production versions go head to head in the mags and I can make my final decision on which one I am going to buy.

But seriously, constructive criticism is a good thing, and people are definitely allowed to vent their displeasure. However, I think the people who say, looks like ***, etc (not you, but there are others) should be at least articulate in their criticisms.
