Camaro Reveal in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Hi all,
I want to invite you all to the 2010 Camaro Reveal on Wednesday, May 6th.
This will be at Hoskins Chevrolet, 175 N. Arlington Hts. Rd. Elk Grove Village Illinois.
Soda and chips at 5:00 p.m. and the cover comes off at 6:00 p.m.
It will be a car people event, you know who you are!
Hopefully, lots of question and answer time.
There will be a 1969, a 1971, and my 2002 B4C Camaro on display in the showroom as well.
I am not a employee of this dealer, just a steady custumer and enthusiast.
They asked if I would display my car and put something together to build excitement for the new car.
So, please come by and check it out!
Thanks!
Rob

Portillos is a real great Chicago style beef joint.
Not uncommon for it to be a first stop fot those who have had it before.
Same goes for pizza and hot dogs, we got the good stuff.
Portillos is about 5minutes from Hoskins.

Some dealers don't know how to be team players and chose to show the car the day it arrived.
Kinda spoiled the fun of a intro.
Yes I know, others have recieved their cars, but they can't drive fast enouph or far enouph for all to see.
Back thruout the 50s, and most of the 60s all car manufacturers used the same intro day.
They used to advertise the event heavily and invite their regular custumers to a weeknite, black tie event.
All dealers soaped their windows to prevent anyone from seeing the new models before introduction day.
This is kindof a play on those days long gone.
It has been a real excitement builder and I as a enthusiest have really gotten a kick out of the response.
You really should try to come by, Aurora isn't that far away.
You might find the freindship of other Camaro nuts a good experience!

I got a email from one of my local chevy dealers this morning saying they got a camaro in and I could come look at it. So I made a B-line over there. It was a red 2SS with auto. It looked great. If anyone is near the Winston-Salem NC area and wants to get a sneak peak at one. It is at Modern Chevrolet on University Pkwy. They said it will be availible to see till friday, then it will be covered up till the may 6th unvailing. I asked the salesman how many thy sold already and he said 7 with 4 going to Richard Childress racing employees. One of which was Clint Boyer
