Question Camaro on show at dealers May 7th????

I've seen 2 commercials on TV now saying "May 7th, Camaro at your local dealer". It doesnt advertise any specific dealer or region, sounds like a Chevrolet commercial.

So Anyone know anything? I saw the GTO in similar circumstances (small showing), but I dont want to bother a Chevy dealer and look like another fool seeking out a Camaro and wasting time.

May not be a specific dealer but it must be a regional thing. Down here in Florida I haven't seen any Chevy commercials mentioning a date yet. I would be willing to bet that GM made a generic commercial for release so they can change the date based on when cars will be available on a regional basis.

my dealer would normally tell me when something liek this is goign to happen. but i havent heard a word about their display car coming yet. since mine is goign to be made next week, maybe the display car will go out with my order and they would arrive quickly, knowing it has a display car on it. i dont know. wishful thinking.

My local dealership got a Silver 2LT RS yesterday. It might be a show car, or a sold car, im not sure. MSRP was like 29k, so I think it was 2LT, RS and thats it.

I'm in Miami, and I saw an "unveil" commercial for the Camaro at a couple of local dealers. The date advertised was May 6.

Went and checked out the Chevy dealer that's close to me, and they had a silver 2LT/RS with an auto for showing. They took me for a ride, but they said they couldn't let customers drive it because it wasn't actually their car yet, since GM hasn't sent them the paperwork.
So yeah, Overland Park, KS, at Morse Chevrolet you can check it out. =) I have pictures on my crappy cell phone but don't have a good way of taking them off. =( Beautiful car btw, and I am still really pumped for it. The leater was comfy, but I now have one problem with it.....The Ambient Lighting is useless, I didn't even think it was on, but sure enough, when I looked close enough there was a slight glow. Disappointing, but still an awesome car that i plan to make my own.

on your phone, select the picture send it to your email address where you would normally put in a phone number. Thats how I do it and you dont need internet on your plan.

Thanks, i had no idea you could just send them to your e-mail. These are all pictures I got before I took a ride, I was too excited messing with the interior to worry about pictures after the dealer let me mess around with it.

Sorry for not having any real interior pics, it was a 2LT, so it had leather and such, and it was an automatic.

Yeah I'm out here in P'cola. Only been here for a few weeks but the dealer made it sound like they weren't a priority.

Honestly, I don't know of any dealers that don't put their sticker on the back of cars around here. Unless you specifically ask them not to put it on there at least. I'm sure they would take it off for you if you asked them too.

BTW, I'm actually pretty impressed with the quality of the pictures from my phone, I didn't expect the pictures to trun out anywhere near that good
