Camaro on verge of revival

Re: Camaro on verge of revival
I like the mention of a Buick sedan AND coupe Reborn Regal or Riviera, anyone? I'd love to see a more luxurious, Lexus-like Regal with a great interior and a nice engine lineup...a true personal luxury coupe. If it was styled well and premium inside, it would sell...and wouldn't come close to cannibalizing a GTO, let alone a Camaro.

In fact, pretty much any car designed for sale in the US is also designed to meet Canadian requirements. It's not a huge deal if it's baked in from the get-go. The problem with GTO was that it initially wasn't designed for sale in the US (nor Canada). It had to have significant modifications to meet US standards, but it just wasn't worth it to do the additional mods required for Canadian consumption.

If the new Camaro has them, I'll be looking up how to disable those as well...
I don't notice many new cars with DRL's anymore. A good thing imo, I hated them.

I don't like them either. Like CHMSLs and lots of other supposed safety enhancers, it's like certain parts of our government have too much free time on their hands, and need to keep changing things to justify their existence.

I believe I'd disabled my signal lamp DRLs in my Camaro. I remember it being located behind the radio and it also disabled the auto-on headlights.

To shut off the headlights while the car was running if they had come on, you have to shut the car off pull the e brake start the car and leave it in park.
That was a good read but I wish the US could get some jobs here.

The relay (or whatever you call it) to disable the DRL's on the Camaro also disables the auto-on headlights. It's behind the radio. Which relay exactly I don't remember, but I do remember doing it in my '02 back when I had it.
Search for it online, that's where I found out how to do it.

GM hopes to have the Camaro and other members of its new rear-wheel-drive family of cars in production by 2010.

I'm 31 now. I have no doubt I'll 'have it in me' to own expensive toys in 5 years. In your 30's is when you can actually afford most of the really desirable 'toys'. LOL
