how could it not. the competition was terrible. i dont even see how they put the other 2 up against the camaro.

Becuase it is not a "World Performance Car Design" award. You'd be surprised at how much of the population does not care about fun perfomance in a car.

That just goes to show what's popular in the rest of the world. This was based on all cars on the makret.

A design panel consisting of five highly respected world design experts asked to first review each candidate, and then establish a short-list of recommendations for the jurors. The original list consisted of 30 different cars.

The three design finalists were the Chevrolet Camaro, Citroën C3 Picasso, and Kia Soul
This is the Citroen it went up against. Not the other blue one posted:

i know its not a performance thing. but, honestly, did you look at the other cars? i really want to know what they saw about those other 2 cars, that made it looks like such an amazing piece of work.

something we all have to keep in mind...

World Car Design Award (as in any car has a design even if it is a ugly design)

not World Car Good Looking Design Award....
