For those who don't know, Buff Whelan is the dealership where our very own Chris Frezza ordered his Camaro. He's been a customer with them for a long time and he's been very happy. Hopefully Chris himself can come in here and elaborate.

Absolutely, Buff Whelan Chevrolet is definetly a dealer I can vouch for. Great people and they are not marking up the Camaro's.

I'm anxiously awaiting my call when my Camaro arrives!

I'll vouch for them too. I've had many dealings with them both as a customer and professionally for many years. Top notch honest people in sales and service.

It has nothing to due with ramping up production. If a dealership is telling you 3-4 months it is because they are a smaller dealer and do not have the allocation to order the vehicles. Like us we earned 37 for this month. Most dealerships get 2-5.

How often does GM release allocations? Are we still in the initial allocation phase or have they moved beyond that? I'm just asking because you mentioned "this month".

Hey John, why don't you order Chris and I each a "backup car" in case the new order can come in quicker than the original orders? Glenn

Note: that was supposed to be sarcastic, but I'm starting to wonder if it might be a possibility for some people who have ordered from other dealers with low allocations and some that are stuck in an area 51 somewhere.

They give the dealerships allocation once a month. They tell us we can have 20 we ask for 50 we get 30. Some dealerships actually turn down allocation which helps the dealerships that ask for more.

The reason most of you are waiting for your vehicles that are already built is the stripes. GM shows the vehicles with the factory stripes shipped......but they get shipped to a off site location for the stripes. So you get to wait a week longer for your vehicle to be put on the train!

At least Chris's car and mine are pretty close now. It won't be long.
