Camaro needs to return to the road racing arena where it belongs. Nascar used to be a great series, but not so much now. Camaros need to be in ALMS and whatever other GT series it qualifies to race in. There are plenty of new Mustang teams out there waiting for a rival

oh i'm sure that will happen too. I would love to have a chance to race one around a track like that!

If NASCAR is a "bad joke", then every other racing organization in the U.S. is something below that - given the huge following NASCAR has (to say nothing of the huge dollars it generates), regardless of how it may have gotten there.

So in a way, NASCAR is to real racing what the WWF is to professional boxing?

I totally agree with Guy here...The last thing I want to see is anything resembling a Camaro in NASCAR...I want to see Camaros in racing like the World Challenge Series, ALMS, Grand Am...Any real kind of racing...

One could certainly draw that conclusion if one wished. However, real races are won (vice fake 'fights') and real people have real injuries. I would suggest a better comparison would be NASCAR and the NFL (given the NFL certainly has its share of "drama", it is hugely popular in the US, but they do play real games, etc).
