CamaroZ28.Com FIRST to Road Test BOTH 2010 Camaro SS and 2010 Camaro LT!
EDIT: Sorry all, we were asked to edit the article a bit and remove the video for the time being. While we didn't get into specifics, we do know that we didn't do anything wrong as everything that was said and shown was done with a Chevrolet escort. Perhaps in the near future we can put what was removed back up. We'll post in this thread if/when updates happen.
-------
EDIT2: On March16 20, 2009 we will be re-releasing the additional drive details and video.
EDIT3: On March 20, 2009 additional drive details and video were released!

When you all get the chance to drive this car, you will be blown away. We are extremely happy with how the car turned out. As the 2010 Camaro promo slogan states, "It will surprise you".

Review excerpt:
As recently posted on our message board, Scott Settlemire, Cheryl Pilcher and John Fitzpatrick all received their 2010 Camaros to drive, fresh from the Oshawa factory. Shortly after that, we received an invitation to take them for a spin. We couldn't be more excited.
Michigan is known for many things, and among them is unpredictable weather and poor road conditions. On this day, both were not very optimal for doing a road test on two of Chevrolet's highly anticipated 2010 Camaros. As it would turn out, thanks to tight engineering tolerances and extreme attention to quality and detail, it didn't matter much.
We braved the bitter cold Michigan weather and met up and a quiet parking lot to look the cars over. One, a fiery Inferno Orange Metallic Camaro LT and the other a screaming Rally Yellow SS. The cars are exactly like what everyone has seen in the magazines and during the Chevrolet show circuit, a spitting image of the Camaro Concept that drew so much attention, fanfare, and awards. No need to spend much time on the outside now, we wanted to get behind the wheel.

Both cars look great and sound great! What a way to spend a day!!! It's funny that these are the two colors I've been thinking about. I'm really digging that yellow! Add some stripes and ground effects and I'll meet you at the Chevy dealer! Thanks to Scott and Cherly. They would of had to activate that new onstar feature to get that yellow one back. I would of been long gone till they made the car slow down then stop!

 You guys ought to be called the fabulous five! Cheryl, Jason, John, Chris, and of course, Scott! The Mustang gals must hate ya!
The streetfire video is really good, and the review is extremely well done!
I hope everyone brings their cars to Indy in May for the NFME---

This was one extremely memorable day for me with these cars. It's been such a long road, and to be actually driving these new Camaro's on the streets of Metro Detroit was just a really special feeling.
Some of my own memories of the day...it's was freakin COLD OUT!!! We just got a snow storm with 4-6" of snow yesterday and the roads were just recently plowed. It was like we were rock stars driving around in these cars! People everyone wanting to talk about the cars, snapping pictures with their cell phones, waving, wanting you to roll down your window to ask questions. Again, I must remind you...it's freakin COLD OUT!!!

I'm very glad you had that much fun! I got lucky once like that with a Holden. So, who was assigned the yellow SS? Is that Scott's, Cheryl's or John's car? It looks like a speeding ticket, even when it's sitting still!
