THE MEETING INFORMATION MANY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

For those who are planning on going to the Detroit Auto show to see the new production Camaro in person, this is for you. CamaroZ28.Com worked with the Chevrolet Shows and Exhibits team, Camaro Product Specialists and the Camaro Team to organize a special meeting.

• When: Saturday, January 17 2009
• Time: We meet at 7:45 am SHARP at the Joe Louis statue in the COBO hall corridor. Can't miss it, huge statue of a boxer right in the middle of the main hall. See additional details below...

Additional Details:

• Doors open at 9:00am. One hour before the doors open, we will all go get in line as a group and get tickets when the ticket booth opens and then (again as a group) at the doors and then we will have special guidance from Chevrolet Product Specialists (1fastdog and/or others) to the Camaro display.
  
• We will also have a meet and greet with Cheryl Pilcher, Camaro Product Manager!
  
• You can order tickets online or get them at the ticket booths when they open at 8. Complete ticket information here.
  
• I'll bring a limited amount of some CamaroZ28.Com goodies for those who attend, and I think this will be a great semi-VIP Camaro enthusiast treatment.
  
• Important - please wear a CamaroZ28.Com shirt, or at least a Camaro shirt or jacket. Show your Camaro pride!

BTW...set your Tivo to record the Barrett-Jackson auction because Camaro #1 will be auctioned off that same day.

no way? im not going to be able to go that day. im going to be in florida talking to wedding planners. is there going to be any other time i can get an upclose meeting/showwing? i am probably going on the 24th. man i was wanting to really get a good look at it since i didnt getto spend too much time looking at indy. any chances of this happening during the show when i come?

 

That's the day the public show opens and that's the day and time we have their attention for this. I cannot speak for them as far as other days. Sorry!

 

well i guess the only way i will be able to get an up close and personal with the camaro is if scott gets something set up with the NEOCC for the cleveland auto show. do you know if he has made any leadway on that?

I'd love to go, and will do my best to be there. I don't have any Camaro-themed clothing though, unless my "YOU ROCK? NO, IROC!" t-shirt counts.

I'm going to try and make this event. I'm wearing my Camaro shirt right now...maybe I wont take it off until then.

 

I have Camaro Golf shirts, I think I have a small "in stock" or at least a medium for sure. I'll bring it along for you. I have a habit of buying Camaro
logo wear. Brand new.

How can you own a Camaro and NOT have a closet full of Camaro clothes??? Not sure if I want to get up at like 3am again this year to make it over there that early. It will depend if anyone else from my club is going to go.

 

Should be a fun time. I'm definetly looking forward to it!
