Cammoed Camaro? (First 5th gen Camaro Z28 spy shot?)

Its just tape hiding the grill. There are already several Firebird/TransAm replicas out there so there would be no reason to camouflage it. (Check out the March '10 Hot Rod.) Anyone notice how the rear appears to have a huge wing under the cover?

Actually many aftermarket body enhancing companies use cameo and yes they do have to check the functionality of the product. This is just someones pore attempt to be the news topic.
Prototype cars are cameoed 100% not just the front hood and fascia.
The aftermarket conversion to Firebird will not work unless you include badges and emblems for everything. It will end up looking like a Firebird and than you sit inside and Camaro hits you in da face! LOL!

Ahh, yes they do. They extensively test their products and yes they also cameo their product to protect their design until the production date.

I have never seen an aftermarket company camo specific body panels. I would love to see an example of this being done though to say I have seen it for future reference. But, the rear bumper looks to not be black as well.
The design for a "firebird" has been around for a while now, with some already producing it from what I thought.
I do wonder why they would just leave it behind some loading dock with no one around it.

Wings West does cameo when they test drive their body kits but all it does is bring more attention to the car...

MarkR14, very cool pics! Thanks for posting them. I hope it is a Z/28. Those black front wheels look mean!
Does anybody else think the headlight shape is reminiscent of the LS1 Camaro?
[grammar ****]
Diplomat, Please stop using "cameo" when you mean to say "camo" which is short for camouflage. Unless this car is making a cameo appearance in a TV show, movie, commercial, etc then it is just wrong.

Thank you & have a nice day!

Hi,
Someone on GMInsidenews told me I should post this here.
I just started a new job and there are some auto companies right around where I work. This car was unloaded out of some big truck really early. When I left my place a little later the cover had blown off the front!
Ran over and got a few quick pics. I tried to zoom in on the car more but then it looked pretty bad for some reason...my camera kinda sucks :-p

Rather improbable, but it sure would be a crafty trick.
